Shelters: Dream home and We can build (2013)

These two works were built to invite viewers participation.

"Dream home" is about the difficulty of Hong Kong people to get a place to live due to high property price and also renting price. It takes away 70% of people's salary to pay mortgage for a flat. Viewers can squeeze the red fulid from the bottle and the fluid will travel from the bottle to a certain white dream house. Symbolizing the effort of one to achieve one's goal to obtain a dream home.

"We can build" encourages people to build a place for oneself using the materials provided. The aim is to remind us that we have the ability to build a living space for ourselves even when we were in the prehistoric time. One rule to follow is to build a space that is just enough for your activity, don't build a big space that one will not use.
